You can browse digitized material directly from the "Digital library" section of the site; much of it is free to read and download.

Open the event page, choose the ticket type and quantity, then enter your details. You will receive a reference number, and payment is completed at the library.

Yes — contact us with your booking reference number at least one day before the event.

You can apply through the "Apply for membership" page. Membership is free, and we will contact you to complete the procedure and issue your reader card.

Yes — reprography services are available for non-copyright-protected documents, subject to preservation rules. See the Services section for details.

The library is open Sunday to Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. It is closed on Fridays, Saturdays and public holidays.

Access to the reading rooms and permanent exhibitions is free. Some events and special exhibitions may require a ticket, which is noted on the event page.
