La Bibliothèque nationale reçoit une rare collection de manuscrits mamelouks

The National Library of Syria has announced the receipt of a rare collection of Mamluk manuscripts considered one of the most significant acquisitions of the past decade.

The head of the Manuscripts Department stated that the collection includes unique copies of works on jurisprudence, medicine and astronomy, which will be made available to researchers upon completion of cataloguing and digitization.
